Does this spotlight require ceiling recess?
No. The Giyan Spotlight is surface-mounted and sits directly on the ceiling. No recess or special junction box is required — it connects to a standard hardwired ceiling connection.
Can I dim the Giyan Spotlight?
Yes, if you select the Triac Warm Dimming version. Pair it with a TRIAC (thyristor) dimmer switch for smooth, flicker-free control. Warm Light and Cool Light versions use a standard wall switch only.
