• Freight delivery is required — confirm site access for a 44 × 16 × 35-inch crate; consider stair access and doorway clearances.
• Two-person handling minimum. Solid travertine is heavy — never lift the top by itself; lift from the pedestal base.
• Place on a level, hard floor. Avoid soft rugs that can shift under the pedestal weight.
• Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth and pH-neutral stone cleaner. Avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus) — they etch travertine.
• Use coasters under glassware — travertine is porous and can stain from oil, wine, and dark liquids if untreated.
