Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat are “Triedri” glass rods?
Triedri (Italian for “three-sided”) are hand-blown triangular prism rods, traditionally produced in the Murano region of Italy from the 1960s onward. Each rod is individually shaped on a blowpipe, cut to length, and stacked or hung in tiered chandelier arrangements. The triangular cross-section gives a layered “fringe” appearance when assembled, with each rod catching light along its faceted edges.
How does the soft pink compare to a more saturated pink?
This soft translucent pink reads gentler and more romantic than a saturated fuchsia or hot pink — closer to a rosé wine tone. It works in interiors where a stronger pink would feel too bold: primary bedrooms with cream and white palettes, dressing rooms with neutral millwork, and boutique-hotel suites where the chandelier serves as a delicate accent rather than the dominant color statement. For more saturated impact, look at the Vakkerlight Fuchsia Prism Empire instead.
What bulbs work best?
Candle-form LED bulbs (E12 or E14, depending on the unit shipped), max 15W each, 2700K warm white. Clear or filament-style preferred — the warm filament reads through the soft pink glass and lifts the gentle rose undertones. Avoid cool-white (4000K+) bulbs which flatten the pink and remove the warmth from the brass frame. LED keeps heat low, important inside hand-blown glass clusters. Bulbs not included.
Is it dimmable?
Yes — when paired with dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible Triac or trailing-edge dimmer (sold separately). Dimming brings out warmer rose and amber tones in the pink glass and is recommended for bedroom and dressing-room installations.
Is the Pink Glass Prism certified for North America?
Yes. It holds certifications compatible with North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia and operates on AC 110–240V worldwide.
