Description
Travertine Stripe Wall Sconce — vertical stone bar, warm up & down wash, two models.
A slim vertical bar of yellow travertine — ∅ 5 cm, just wide enough to hold two G9 sockets at its top and bottom ends — mounts flush to the wall and washes warm light upward and downward simultaneously. The stone surface catches and scatters the light outward along its length, the pores and fossil inclusions visible in the glow. The result is a wall composition that is architectural at distance and geological up close. Available in Model A and Model B (differing in stone orientation and vein pattern) and in three heights: 60, 80, and 120 cm.
Yellow Travertine — formed by nature, unrepeatable by craft
Each Travertine Stripe bar is cut from yellow travertine — a sedimentary limestone formed over millennia. The pore distribution, amber veins, fossil inclusions, and tonal variation of every piece differ. Product photographs are reference examples only. Your sconce will be its own singular geological object.

Bulb & Light Source
G9 — 2 sockets (top + bottom), bulbs not included
Each sconce has two G9 sockets — one at the top of the stone bar and one at the bottom — each directing light outward from the stone’s end face. A warm-white G9 LED at 2700–3000 K is strongly recommended — the warm amber tone enhances the travertine’s fossil character and creates a rich upward-and-downward wall wash. A frosted G9 capsule LED at ~5W per socket is appropriate for the slim ∅ 5 cm bar form. Two bulbs are required per sconce.

Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat is the difference between Model A and Model B?
Both models are the same size and have the same G9 socket arrangement. The difference is the travertine block’s cut orientation — Model A and Model B represent different slicing directions through the stone, resulting in different vein patterns on the visible face of the bar. Because travertine is a natural material, the exact vein character of each individual piece will differ within each model regardless. If you are installing multiple sconces in a corridor or symmetrically, choosing the same model for all positions creates a more unified composition.
Which height should I choose?
The 60 cm version is proportioned for a standard-height wall installation — typically with the sconce’s vertical midpoint at approximately 140–160 cm from the floor, which places the light wash in a comfortable visual zone. The 80 cm version works well on taller walls or where the stone should read as a more significant vertical element — corridors, hallways, and above console tables. The 120 cm version is for architectural feature walls, double-height spaces, and positions where the sconce should anchor the full height of the wall surface between floor and ceiling.
Does the sconce light up both upward and downward simultaneously?
Yes — both G9 sockets are on the same circuit and light simultaneously when the switch is on. The upper G9 fans light upward along the wall above the stone; the lower G9 fans light downward along the wall below. This creates a warm bidirectional wash that traces the stone’s full height on the wall surface and is particularly effective in corridors where the dual wash creates a soft, even ambient illumination without a ceiling fixture.
Is the Travertine Stripe Sconce certified for North America and Europe?
Yes. It holds certifications compatible with North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia and operates on AC 110–240V worldwide.
