Description
The Ikono — Double-Layer Iron Pendant
Two concentric iron shades — a wide upper cone and a shorter stepped lower tier — stack beneath a domed canopy to direct light downward while cutting glare at seated eye level. A glass panel at the base of the lower shade diffuses the bulb’s output into a soft pool below, making both frosted LEDs and clear Edison filaments equally effective. Available in white, red, or green body finish with a white shade interior on all versions, the Ikono suits kitchen islands, dining nooks, and reading corners where a compact pendant with clean Nordic geometry is needed.

Choosing your size
The S (30 cm) works well over small dining tables up to 100 cm, reading nooks, and bedside positions. The L (40 cm) is better scaled for dining tables 120–160 cm long and open-plan kitchen islands. Both sizes share the same E26/E27 socket and suspension hardware.
Bulb Recommendation
E26 / E27 · 1 bulb per pendant · Bulb not included
Best choice: Frosted A19 or G95 LED, 2700–3000 K, 6–9 W
The glass diffuser panel at the base distributes light evenly — a frosted or opal LED (800 lm or less) removes any visible filament shadow on the shade interior. A clear ST64 Edison filament at 2200 K also works well, adding a warm visible glow through the glass panel when seen from below. Keep output below 800 lm in the S size; the double-layer shade concentrates light efficiently.

Frequently Asked QuestionsDoes the Ikono need an electrician to install?
Yes — the Ikono is hardwired and connects directly to your ceiling junction box. A licensed electrician is recommended for the wiring step. The canopy covers a standard round junction box; the cable and chain come pre-attached. The on-site task is connecting the three wires (live, neutral, ground) and trimming the cable to the desired drop height.
Which bulb works best with the double-shade design?
A frosted A19 or G95 LED at 2700–3000 K and 6–9 W is the most practical choice — the glass diffuser at the base spreads output evenly with no visible hotspot. A clear ST64 Edison filament (2200 K) also works well and shows warm glow through the glass panel. Keep the bulb at or below 800 lm in the S size; the layered shade focuses light efficiently.
How high should I hang the Ikono over a dining table?
The standard guideline is 30–36 inches (75–90 cm) from the tabletop to the bottom of the shade. For the L size over a rectangular dining table, around 30–32 inches gives focused illumination without blocking sightlines. For the S size over a smaller table or nook, 28–30 inches keeps the light pool tight to the surface.
What’s the difference between the S and L sizes?
The S (Ø 30 cm / 11.8″) suits compact dining tables up to 100 cm, reading corners, and bedside positions. The L (Ø 40 cm / 15.7″) is better scaled for dining tables 120–160 cm long, kitchen islands, and open-plan spaces. Both sizes share the same E26/E27 socket, suspension hardware, and body finish options.
Is the Ikono certified for use in North America and Europe?
Yes. The Ikono holds certifications compatible with North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia, and operates on AC 110–240 V worldwide.
