Piemonte Glass Leaf Wall Sconce — ten textured glass leaves, brass frame, plug-in.

Ten individual glass panels — each shaped like a broad palm leaf with a ribbed diamond-textured surface — hang from brass hook fittings on a rectangular brass backplate and cascade downward in three overlapping tiers. The G9 light source sits behind the uppermost tier; the warm light refracts through each leaf’s pressed texture as broken, scattered patterns on the surrounding wall. The overall form is symmetrical at a glance and endlessly detailed up close. Plug-in with a 59″ cord and inline switch — no hardwiring, no electrician required.

Runs on a 59″ cord with an inline on/off push-button switch. Mount the brass backplate to the wall with the provided screws, route the cord to a nearby outlet. No ceiling wiring or junction box needed.

Handling and installation — glass panels are individually set

Each of the 10 glass leaves hangs from its own brass hook and can be adjusted or repositioned after installation. If a glass panel is damaged after delivery, individual replacement is possible — contact us. Handle with care during installation; the leaves will shift when the sconce is tilted or moved, so have a second person assist during wall mounting.

Bulb & Light Source

G9 — ~5W, bulb not included

The Piemonte uses a single G9 socket behind the uppermost glass tier. A warm-white G9 LED at 2700 K at 3–5W is recommended — the warm amber tone refracts through the ribbed diamond texture of each glass leaf as scattered warm patterns on the wall. A frosted G9 capsule produces a softer, more diffused scatter; a clear capsule produces sharper, more defined refraction lines. The ~5W rating is the maximum recommended for this fixture — do not exceed 5W total G9 wattage.

Frequently Asked QuestionsCan I install two sconces symmetrically on either side of a mirror?

Yes — this is the most common installation for the Piemonte. At L 30 cm wide and H 32 cm tall, a pair flanking a 60–80 cm wide mirror with the backplates positioned 5–10 cm from the mirror edge creates a well-proportioned symmetrical composition. The 59″ cords can be routed along the wall behind the mirror frame or along the wall edge to a shared outlet or two separate outlets. For the cleanest look, use a cord cover channel (available at most hardware stores) to conceal the cord along the wall.

What happens if one glass panel is cracked or broken?

Each of the 10 glass leaves is an independent panel hanging from its own brass hook. A damaged panel can be removed from the hook without disturbing the rest of the arrangement. Contact us to request a replacement panel for your specific sconce — individual glass replacement is available. Do not use the sconce with a cracked glass panel as glass fragments may fall from the hook over time.

Does the textured glass create visible light patterns on the wall?

Yes — the ribbed diamond texture on each glass leaf refracts the G9 light source into scattered patterns on the surrounding wall and ceiling. The effect is most visible in low-ambient-light conditions — evenings with the main room lights dimmed. The pattern is warm and broken rather than sharp geometric (unlike crystal prisms), creating a soft shimmer on the wall surface. With a warm 2700 K G9 LED, the wall pattern reads as warm amber light dappling; with a cooler 4000 K G9, the pattern is more blue-white and graphic.
